Southampton Rats Climbing Club is a small, informal club for people in the Southampton and surrounding areas. We organise monthly meets in a variety of areas across the country (on a car-share basis), regular climbing wall sessions on a Tuesday evening at St. Mary’s Leisure Centre, an annual winter meet in Scotland and a summer a ‘Whole of the Club’ meet.
The Club promotes all mountain-based activities, from climbing and mountaineering to caving, orienteering and mountain biking. The Club does not organise activities on meets, but brings together like-minded individuals. We also provide a focus for members wishing to get together for their own climbing and social activities.
